Camp Wilani Leadership Programs
Teens In Action (Grades 9-12)
Earn community service hours (which may be required by
your school!) as a Camp Volunteer this summer! Take on responsibilities
that include dish washing, program set-up, and camp community betterment
projects. As a Camp Volunteer, enjoy leadership and team building
activities on the Alpine Tower and other special programs designed
for older campers. Swim, boat, hike and make lasting friendships!

Wrangler Ranch (Grades 7-12)
Wranglers are teenagers ready to gain practical experience
with the horsemanship program. Professional trainers will assist
and instruct campers in all areas of horse care and riding. Wranglers
are privileged to outback trail rides and in-depth instruction from
trainers. It's hard work but good fun at the Camp Wilani corral!
Wranglers will also experience lots of other camp activities like
swimming, folkcrafts, and evening campfire! Due to skill and commitment
requirements, campers are asked to fill out a Wrangler Agreement

2008 Counselor-In-Training Leadership Program
(Grades 11-12) Level One
The CIT program is designed for young adults who want to
develop skills for working with children in a recreational outdoor
setting. This four-week program requires a two-year commitment.
The first year (level one) will be spent learning about camp structure,
characteristics of children and how to lead. As a second year (level
two) CIT, further develop leadership skills and complete this program
through a supervised one-week internship as a counselor. An interview
and complete application are required before acceptance into the

(Grade 12) Level Two
As a second year (level two) CIT, further develop leadership
skills and complete this program through a supervised one-week internship
